This unit covers argumentative writing with an accent on the following: How to read and analyze a prompt; how to prewriting for an argumentative essay; how to draft, review, edit and publish and argumentative essay; how to reflect on the process of writing an argumentative essay to prepare for other writing tasks, and how to review argumentative writing to a prompt before a standardized test. The unit is prefaced with a workshop for teachers on using argumentative writing in the classroom.
