Description
With this 6-in-1 bundle pack, you get 6 fun activities to use with your students! And you save 50% by purchasing the bundle instead of buying these items individually!
Hidden Picture - Reveal the hidden picture by using unit rates. This fun worksheet includes directions for your students, including which colors to use. You will be able to grade/check these in mere seconds using the color key that I have provided.
Secret Message - This "secret message" activity will amuse your students and teach them about finding the unit rate in real life. Directions are printed at the top: In each row, determine the best deal by finding the unit rate. Circle the letter next to the best deal in each row. The first one has been completed for you. At the end, read the message from top to bottom. It reads, "What a great deal!"
Safe Cracker - Students can become world famous safe crackers! Students are given three "clues", which are unit rate problems. The answers become the numbers in the safe combinations. When the three clues are solved, the safe is cracked! There are a total of 15 problems, but they are grouped into 5 "combinations", so your students will look at this as a 5 question assignment.
Unit Rate Puzzle - Directions for students are printed on the worksheet: Cut out the squares. Complete the puzzle by matching the side of one square to the side of another square with the solution. If a square has a blank side, that side does not have a match. Ignore the letters in the center of the squares for now. Eventually, your teacher will show you how to read the secret message!
Using Unit Rates Partner Search & Written Response - Each student receives a card with a rate on it. They need to find the others students with an equivalent rate, but it's only possible if they use unit rates. There's a super easy answer key that you can use to check groups in mere seconds. There is also a short written response prompt that students can complete together or independently.
Using Unit Rates Practice Worksheet - Great for homework or in-class practice, this worksheet shows students how to use unit rates to find equivalent ratios. For example, if 3 shirts cost $18.60, you have to use a unit rate to figure out how much 5 shirts cost.
You can still buy these individually at my store, and you can also read more detail about each one in their respective listings. Also, please be sure to check out the Preview, so you see exactly what you will receive.
If you like this, why not save yourself lots of time and effort by also grabbing the Unit Rate Quiz Pack? Make assessment quick and easy!
Thanks, and enjoy!
