Product Description
Students will build their own linear equations using unit rates and initial values. They will find their average rate for how many pieces of cereal they can make in a cup in one minute's time. Add in the concept of initial value (y-intercept) by putting a certain number of cereal pieces in the cup before passing the cups out. Students LOVE this and totally understand unit rate after. Relate this to an input/output table and a graph.
