Product Description
This product contains 2 double-sided unit review worksheets that review and reinforce concepts from a middle school or lower high school unit on the scientific method, experimental design and the SI (metric) system.

I typically hand out this review document to students at the end of the unit to clarify what content will be covered on an upcoming unit test and to give them a series of scaled review questions in a variety of formats, including fill in the blanks, short answer, tables, diagrams, and word problems, where applicable.

Comes 2 Versions - With Metric System and No Metric System:

I have created two versions of this unit review document: the first version focuses on the scientific method and experimental design only. The second version also focuses on scientific method and experimental design, but adds questions on the SI system and metric conversions using the linear and conversion factor methods.

I created 2 unit review documents because I recognize that different educators teach the topic of scientific method and experimental design in different ways. To be specific, some educators include metrics and metric conversions in this unit, while others do not. This 2-worksheet set gives educators more flexibility in what they want their students to review and understand.

Contents of Unit Review (A) - No Metrics:

- Scientific method
- Steps to an experiment
- Independent, dependent variables and constants
- Experimental controls
- Interpreting graphs
- Evaluating an experiment
- 2-page color-coded answer key for all questions

Contents of Unit Review (A) - With Metrics:

- Scientific method
- Steps to an experiment
- Independent, dependent variables and constants
- Experimental controls
- Base SI units (meter, gram, liter, etc.)
- Match common SI prefixes (KHDBdCM) with their multiplier (0.01, 0.1, 10, 100, etc.)
- Metric conversions using the linear or staircase method (KHDBdCM)
- Metric conversions using the conversion factor method or dimensional analysis
- 2-page color-coded answer key for all questions

Downloadable in 2 Formats:

- This product comes in 2 formats: a static PDF document and editable Word document.
