This is a bundle of unit studies designed to explore Blue Bell, Coca-Cola, and Hershey - three of the most enduring "pop food" brands in American culture. The Blue Bell study includes 6 topics, while the Coca-Cola and Hershey studies each include 9 topics. Each topic is divided into two parts. Usually, Part One focuses on learning about the topic while Part Two focuses on learning or practicing an academic or creative skill. There is a mix of individual and group activities, and each part is followed by an Extra! activity which makes these studies even more flexible.
I designed these studies for a group that met twice per week and explored one topic per week. However, I have included suggestions for how to tailor each study to a group that meets once per week or a group that meets daily. I have also included suggestions for how to condense each study into four weeks or even one week.
