Students begin the activity reading summaries of major events from 1945 to 1969, the years when Harry S. Truman, Dwight D. Eisenhower, John F. Kennedy, and Lyndon B. Johnson were the presidents of the United States.
After reading the summaries, it is time to play Jeopardy! Questions on the last two lesson pages are used to conduct the game. Only the teacher has a copy of these pages. Categories are CITIES, LAWS, FAMOUS PEOPLE, EVENTS, and ODDS AND ENDS. Complete game rules are provided on the lesson pages.
When the game ends, you can give students a copy of the last two lesson pages to do as a review exercise.
Easy-to-follow Teacher Instructions and answer key included, along with a 20-question follow up quiz to measure student progress. The quiz can also be given as a homework assignment or used as a review exercise later in the school year.
