State Regions - West, Southwest, Northwest, Northeast, Southeast

This assessment pack includes three different domains - (1) state names, (2) state names and abbreviations and (3) state names, abbreviations and capitals. Each domain has three differentiated versions - beginner, intermediate and challenge.

Beginner - Student match states on map to state name, state name provided.
Intermediate - Student identifies states on map, first letter of state name provided.
Challenge - Student identifies states on map.

State Names & Abbreviations
Beginner - Student states on map to abbreviation, abbreviations provided.
Intermediate - Student identifies states on map by abbreviation, first letter of abbreviation and state provided.
Challenge - Student identifies states on map by abbreviation and state name.

State Names, Abbreviations and Capitals
Beginner - Student match states on map to capital, capitals provided.
Intermediate - Student identifies state name, abbreviation and capitals on map, first letter of state name and capital provided.
Challenge - Student identifies states, capitals and abbreviations on map.

Uses -This assessment pack can be used as a differentiated formal end-of-unit assessments - simply pick the most appropriate assessment for each individual student. For example, students on IEPs or 504s might benefit from the beginner or intermediate version, whereas the majority of your class should use the challenge version. Or use beginner as introduction, intermediate as homework and challenge as final assessment. You can also laminate or put in sheet protectors for reusable practice maps!

Includes modifications for students who need further accommodations.
