I’ve made this unit to help younger students gain a basic understanding of the different regions of the United States.
Each section contains information on the geographies, climates, cultures, histories, and economies of the nine regions of the United States as well as Alaska and Hawaii.
Each section has a range of activities including mapwork, graphing, worksheets, coloring pages, and crosswords.
Each unit (with the exception of Alaska and Hawaii) has a small geography quiz sheet including a word search and map activity.
An answer key is included for each quiz as well as for the crossword sheet.
Each unit has a PowerPoint presentation with worksheet scans, animations, pictures, and teacher notes.
