To review the names and locations of states, cities, waterways, and land areas of the United States in 1783.

The class will be divided into five teams. Each team will try to identify the states, cities, waterways, and land areas numbered on the map on page 44B. The map shows the United States in 1783, the year Great Britain signed the Treaty of Paris granting independence to its American colonies.
