This is a resource students can make to show what they have learned about different types of measurement (length, mass, capacity, and time). Students will record the units of measurement and tools commonly used to take measurements for each type of measurement.
This resource can be used in an interactive notebook for Math or Science. It is a flip book that is easy for students to assemble, and also comes with simple instructions on how to assemble it. The finished resource can be glued into any notebook, and also fits easily in a composition book.
The front page features flaps for each type of measurement. Students will illustrate these flaps (e.g. draw a ruler on the "length" flap). When they lift the flap, there is a space provided to write in the units of measurement (e.g. in the length section, students could record "mm, cm, m, km") and types of measurement tools (e.g. in the length section students could write "ruler").
NOTE: This flip book can also be used as a useful study guide for a quiz on the units of measurement.
