PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

This 36-task card set was created to help 2nd and 3rd grade students sharpen and refine their time and measurement skills by answering a series of questions connected to the mathematical standard of interval of times such as elapsed time (gone by/passed) and time in the future (time that has yet to occur).

How It Works: Using task cards, students are asked to answer a series of questions related to the seven days of the week.
For task cards #1 - #15:
*Questions on alphabetical ordering and grammar skills.
For task cards #16 - #36:
*Questions that require critical thinking and mathematical reasoning skills

*There is SOME PREP involved with this product.
*The questions for these task cards have been differentiated for your convenience. The level of difficulty increases as each task card is completed. You may choose to assign the task cards in any way that fits the academic needs and levels of your students.
*There are two (2) answering recording sheets included with this resource.
*The Days of the Week task cards can be used whole class, within a small group setting, for RTI, as test prep, or with your ELL/ESL/EFL kiddos.
*This resource also includes four (4) lesson extension printables. You may choose to use these printables as homework, exit tickets, or for math center/rotation/station activities.
*To give these task cards a look that “pops,” you may want to copy them on bright colored paper (think Astrobrites!). Laminate to ensure years of durability and usage.
*For your convenience, answer keys for all task cards questions and lesson extension printables have been provided.
