Based on Harvard Project Zero's "Studio Habits of Mind", this rubric is meant to be flexible enough to suit any curriculum or project that integrates both process and project into a final grade.
Each standard is designed to address a different aspect of art making, and assessments are derived both from work in the sketchbook and final studio project.
In addition to the rubric, this document includes:
• A student Self Reflection Sheet
• A teacher 'cheat sheet' that explains how to calculate the grade.
• Two versions of the grade conversion chart, one that accounts for zeros and one that does not, depending on what your school or class policy is on giving zeroes.
