Review for any subject using these BINGO cards. Students randomly fill in the boxes using the terms (approximately 5) the teacher assigns them. The teacher will call out examples that represent assigned terms and students cover up the box/or term that they think it represents. Ex. Teacher gives students the terms - Simile, Metaphor, Personification, Hyperbole, Alliteration. Students write each term in any of the BINGO boxes until all boxes are occupied. Teacher may say, " The raindrops danced on my roof." Student then covers ONE box that they assigned as Personification. Teacher must give directions to cover the bingo card, ex. Cover all, Straight Line, Diagonal, 4 Corners, Postage Stamp, etc. If a student claims to have a BINGO, review your examples and align with their results. Success is determined by student knowledge of material. Game works well for all subjects!
