I am using this file in my classroom on one of my bulletin boards. I got the idea from Matthew Flynn, another music teacher, who posted the idea on Facebook. I have his permission to use his idea in this product.
His idea included buying skeleton keys from Amazon.com (which I am doing- as of August 2015, you can buy 30 keys in a package for about $8.) They look really neat! When a student completes one of the activities, they earn a key and extra credit points. Kids are really more interested in the keys, which they use for jewelry, collecting, etc. Kids are to complete the tasks outside of the school day.
I have included certificates in this file in case you would rather award those, than buy the keys. Certificates are in color, and ink saving black and white. If you choose to do something else, be sure to comment on my feedback page…I’d be interested to know!
Please do leave feedback for credit for future purchases, and because I like to hear from you!
