### PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

As a Kindergarten and First Grade looping teacher, I have become passionate about digging into the Common Core Standards to gain a deeper understanding of their meaning and the progressions through K-1. By taking a close look at the mathematical clusters of standards within the Common Core, I have been able to unpack the important pieces that are essential for our Kindergarten students to grow as mathematicians. The Counting and Cardinality domain is the premise of all future mathematics for our students. This document that I have created unpacks three major clusters in the common core (K.CC.A, B, & C). By providing our students with thoughtful and meaningful tasks aligned to these essential clusters, we are setting our students up for success and laying the foundation for their future as mathematicians.
