This is a document that I typically create for my D/HH, language delayed students to practice ordering basic sentences. The sentence structure follows the same order as my magnets (found in my store) with a WHO or WHAT being first, DO WHAT second, etc.This is a more basic worksheet, but can be tweaked according to the level of each student. Sometimes, I will also color code (with a marker) the specific word to match that part of speech on my WH question magnets. The magnets make a great visual reference!
Because my students have difficulty with comprehension I have them draw me a picture of the sentence they just unscrambled. This is a great way to see what is going on inside your students' minds when they are not able to express verbally or through sign language if they understand.
