Description
Want a fun way to celebrate Earth Day and raise awareness of how to recycle some unusual items? We all know about recycling paper, plastic, and aluminum. Did you know things like panty hose, hair clippings, and greeting cards can be recycled? Your class can choose an item to collect in a recycling drive, promote it, help the environment, and in some cases, help a charity as well. We provide the ideas for what to collect and links to further information- how to do it is up to you! Your kids will be excited to read over the list and begin their recycling drive! Any feedback on how your class used these ideas is welcome and encouraged! Thanks!
