Excellent number and place value revision during the lead-up to Christmas!
This resource will have your students working together to assemble a 0-100 hundreds chart as a whole class.
Have students decorate a numbered present and draw/write about what is inside the present on the back of the card.
Assemble the numbers in order - a great opportunity to revise the patterns in a hundreds chart!
They will then solve number clues on a gift tag to find the correct number. Turn the number over to "unwrap" the present to see what was inside!
This pack has:
• 0-100 number cards in Christmas present theme
• Gift tags for all numbers 0-100 ranging in difficulty (print on coloured paper and cut out to "pull out of a hat" randomly, or display from interactive whiteboard)
• Blank gift tags for you to write your own clues, or have students write their own clues for the class to solve!
(Please note that the terminology used is tens, ones, digits).
