Product Description
Get your students up and around with this engaging review game. This game focuses on MS-LS1-2. Questions cover the following cell structures and their functions: nucleus, cell membrane, cell wall, chloroplasts, and mitochondria. Diffusion and osmosis related to molecules moving across a cell membrane are included also.

NGSS MS-LS1-2: Develop and use a model to describe the function of a cell as a whole and ways parts of cells contribute to the function. [Clarification Statement: Emphasis is on the cell functioning as a whole system and the primary role of identified parts of the cell, specifically the nucleus, chloroplasts, mitochondria, cell membrane, and cell wall.]

How to play:
1. Give each student an Up and Around Science Scavenger Hunt grid sheet to record answers.
2. Pass out the cards numbered 1-30. If you have less than 30 students, place extra cards on a table, counter, or other surface. If you have more than 30 students, have some students pair up to work together.
3. Students will place the answer on their grid sheet in the space that has the same number as the card they are answering.
When finished with a card, students can place it on a counter or table designated and get another card. I like to place 5-6 random cards on each group of student tables.
4. After a designated amount of time, go over the correct answers. The student with the most correct answers is named the winner. The focus is on correct answers and not just being quick.
