For this project, students will select a used artifact and remodel, reupholster, redesign, & recycle. The goal is to take something old or irrelevant and make it new and useful (or even more so). Students may choose any artifact to redesign. This project covers subjects such as theatre, stagecraft, technical theatre, visual art, 3D design, english, and math. Topics include Redesign, Recycling, and Fabrication.
Present information, findings, and supporting evidence clearly, concisely, and logically such that listeners can follow the line of reasoning and the organization, development, substance, and style are appropriate to purpose, audience, and task.
Make strategic use of digital media (e.g., textual, graphical, audio, visual, and interactive elements) in presentations to enhance understanding of findings, reasoning, and evidence and to add interest.
Adapt speech to a variety of contexts and tasks, demonstrating command of formal English when indicated or appropriate.
