Students can use this guided research project to learn about a specific country. Feel free to target the research to your learning goals (i.e. a country involved in World War 2, for instance). The children will be guided to research basic facts (currency, bordering countries, languages spoken), the prominent religions and customs of the country, the government, history, and geographic features. When finished, the students can cut along the dotted lines on each page for a "flipbook," or you may choose to have them compile the information they researched and organized into a typed report. The project also includes a "self-assessment checklist."
