Need some engaging upper- and lower-case alphabet flash cards? Check out these bug letters! One set of buggie alphabet cards has both upper- and lower-case letters on the same card. Another set has just upper-case letters, and a final set has only lower-case letters on each bug.
This "bunch of bugs" can be used in a variety of ways as you look for engaging ideas to teach letter recognition and letter sounds. I printed these bugs out on different colored cardstock, laminated them, and cut them out. I then purchased some plastic flyswatters for students to "swat" the "bugs." My Kindergarteners and striving first graders love this activity.
