Upper- and Lower-Case Alphabet Fish Flash Cards for Letter Sound Recognition

Need some engaging upper- and lower-case alphabet flash cards? Check out these fishie letters! One set of fish alphabet cards has both upper- and lower-case letters on the same card. Another set has just upper-case letters, and a final set has only lower-case letters on each fish.

This "school of letter fish" can be used in a variety of ways as you look for engaging ideas to teach letter recognition and letter sounds. I printed these fish out on different colored cardstock, laminated them, cut them out, and placed magnets on each. I then purchased some magnetic toy fishing poles for students to "catch" the fish. My Kindergarteners and striving first graders love this activity.
