Upper- and Lower-Case Alphabet Worm Flash Cards for Letter Sound Recognition

Need some engaging upper- and lower-case alphabet flash cards? Check out these worm letters! One set of wormy alphabet cards has both upper- and lower-case letters on the same card. Another set has just upper-case letters, and a final set has only lower-case letters on each worm.

This "worm farm" can be used in a variety of ways as you look for engaging ideas to teach letter recognition and letter sounds. I printed these wormies out on different colored cardstock, laminated them, and cut them out. I then purchased some plastic tweezers for students to pick up the "worms" to work on hand strength as well as letter and sound recognition. My Kindergarteners and striving first graders love this activity.
