PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

This is the introduction to a larger unit and project incorporating baseball into Algebra and statistics. In this worksheet students are given an overview of baseball and the basic statistics used to analyze players. They are then given the chance to try some of the stats out and analyze which player is best and why.

From the worksheet: "During this unit, you will become managers of your very own baseball team. You will learn how to use decimals and ratios to analyze key statistical data, draft players, make trades, construct a lineup, and play simulated games. All of this will occur as we study the mathematics of baseball."
