Using Commas Test: Includes a variety of 20 questions that assess your students' knowledge of comma usage to set off yes and no, tag questions, and direct address. Students will correct sentences and decide whether sentences are correctly punctuated. An answer key is included.
Using Commas Task Cards: 32 task cards are included with an answer key. I have included a variety of task cards that give students practice on using commas.
These task cards are great to use for a game of Scoot!, homework, centers, warm-ups, enrichment, examples in language journals/notes, or just for a fun learning activity! Copy your cards, laminate them, cut them out, and keep them for years to come! Then, just print a copy of the student-recording sheet for each child in your class and your students are all set for some language fun!
Use a comma to set off the words yes and no (e.g., Yes, thank you), to set off a tag question from the rest of the sentence (e.g., It's true, isn't it?), and to indicate direct address (e.g., Is that you, Steve?).
