There are 3 sets of exercises in which the student learning teams determine the meaning of a figurative language phrase. Each set is the same figurative language phrase but with different meanings due to different contexts. This format of the same figurative language phrase taking on different meanings due to its context really forces the learner to read closely and use context clues to determine the message relayed within the figurative phrase.
