Description

This Using Data to Tell How Many More or Less in a Category is a great beginning picture graph resource. Students compare numbers (pictures) by drawing lines in order to determine the difference between the two sets. Students then use the picture graph to answer questions about the graph and determine which category has more and which has fewer.

Includes:

This set includes 10 easy to use practice pages. Be sure to check out the preview to see more.

Easel Activities - There are two versions of this resource available to use with Easel. The first version mirrors the worksheets. Students can use the pencil/highlighter tool to draw and circle. Then they can type in the answers to the questions.

The second version is an interactive version that allows students to drag the correct answers to the questions based on the data they see in the graph. They can also continue to use their writing tool to circle and draw lines. This is a self-checking activity.

Student Engagement

These pages work well whole class, in a small group, or as homework practice. Students are engaged as they look at the data on the picture graphs and compare them. They are also engaged as they work to answer the questions.

Cute worksheets to supplement our homeschool lesson. It was great for my kiddies to be able to picture what makes the solution more or less.
