Using Humor to Teach the Importance of English Class Presentation and Handouts (Newly Updated!)

Most students zone out when it comes to learning English usage, spelling, grammar and mechanics. And the older they get, the more they question the need for taking English classes.
This 80+ slide presentation uses humor to prove how essential English class is in the real world. It begins as a serious slideshow, listing all the great things they'll learn in class. And just when they think they'll be able to take a nap, you'll show them the real reason why they're there. The examples are so funny (and there's over 50 of them), they won't even realize learning is taking place.
Use the presentation as an introduction to the course, the opening (or anytime) of a grammar unit, for open house, or anytime your students need a reminder (or a good laugh) of WHY they are required to take English class.
