Product Description
This lesson uses "My Shot" from the hit musical "Hamilton" to teach the following concepts: alliteration, assonance, consonance, perfect rhyme, slant rhyme, and internal rhyme.

What's included:
- Slides for teaching this lesson (including definitions, examples, and Hamilton lyrics both plain and highlighted for various elements)
- A printable handout for students to practice highlighting the various elements within the Hamilton lyrics (can be glued into a composition book when cut!)

My students LOVED this activity and definitely mastered the different kinds of rhyme and alliteration better than if I had just used "classic" examples.
