Using Our Language is a grammar handbook of mini-lessons that easily fits into the ELA instruction of grades 3-6. The 22 pages have been assembled into an booklet that can be printed and used as is.(Print odd numbered pages first then print even numbered pages on the back.) Pages may also be printed, cut apart, and glued individually into a journal for use when you need them. Pages include definitions of all topics and most include a guided practice section. Some pages are reference only; as in a list of most commonly used prefixes, suffixes, and transition words. My students found these so helpful that they kept their journals as reference guides for years.
