"Using Part of the Question in your Answer" contains multiple games and activities to make learning how to use part of the question in your answer fun! Pair this product with the FREE "Using Part of the Question in your Answer for the Smartboard"
and you have a weeks worth of activities to practice this skill!
This packet contains the "I have, Who has" game in which a student begins by reading the "Who has" section of their card. Then, the person who has the "I have" match will read their card. The game continues until all cards have been read.
It also contains the "Pass the Envelope" game where students will work in partners or small groups to read the question in the envelope and write down the beginning of the answer using part of the question in their answer on their handout. Once the buzzer rings, everyone passes their envelopes to the next group.
"Using Part of the Question in your Answer" also includes the "Find my Match" and "Answer my Question" games! When playing "Find my Match", half your students will have question cards and half will have answer cards. They will walk around the room until they find their match! "Answer my Question" is a fun way for students to get to know each other. They will find different partners to answer the questions on their handout. However, their partners have to answer the questions in complete sentences!
This packet even includes two handouts that go along with fiction and nonfiction books. This is great for centers, homework, and/or for your students who always finish early!
