Product Description
I created this two page activity to be done in pairs (though could be individually) in order to analyze how millennials think politically and how they see themselves in our society. The main purpose was to understand that generation, but since we explore polling and other measures of public opinion just prior to this, I wanted to give them a sample of some good scientific polls, too. There are six Gallup and Pew polls that they will delve into and then create a paragraph as reporters of CNN. They must also make a judgement as to how much faith should be placed in this new generation. Finally, at the end there is a bonus question interpreting a cartoon. Normally takes a period. I might suggest putting the first page of the document online for them because the polls are slightly easier to interpret with the colors, but I've also just printed it out.
