This tutorial will walk you and your students through the steps to create an image that is black and white with one part in color. This works with most Photoshops, the tutorials uses CC. I also included the rubric I use for my tutorial projects.

I talk to my students about the Principle of Art: Emphasis and using color and contrast to create emphasis.

**There are many ways to achieve this same effect in Photoshop. This particular way has been a very easy way to make every students successful with minimal experience in Photoshop.
