I wanted to incorporate more picture books in my instruction, and also provide my students with more practice on the skills/strategies that I was teaching. I created a “generic” activity sheet for each lesson in Journeys unit 1 that can be used with any text, or the texts listed. Then, I created an additional activity or two to go along with each lesson/picture book. I hope these help you! Please let me know if you need anything, or if you have any questions as you use this unit!
