Product Description
Common Core Aligned lesson for Middle School ELA!
This one day lesson is based on the Pixar short film "Boundin." If you don't own a copy of the Pixar shorts DVD, you can find it on You Tube. I use this as a mentor text to teach dynamic character and conflict. After students analyze the film for the literary elements, they will apply and their understanding to their own novel or short story. Students will write an argument paragraph demonstrating their analysis of a dynamic character. There is a model paragraph included to serve as an example for students.
