Product Description
Knowing the meaning of just one root can help build a bigger vocabulary.
Students knowing MAL is a root meaning unpleasant, faulty, or improper gives them a jump start to knowing the definitions of malicious, malevolent, malpractice, malware, malady, maladapted, malignant, and more. There are five one-page worksheets that introduce three roots per page. One worksheet can take 20 minutes or so to complete--depending on how time you want to go over the roots on that page. Use these five lessons for an entire week or use them throughout the year. Roots are a fun way to get students on their way to gaining a bigger vocabulary.
