Using a transparent mirror, students reproduce mirror images of an original drawing. This is a great math center or end of the year project. Students see the flips, slides, and turns as their picture is copied through the transparent mirror. Original squares can be mounted on construction paper and displayed as a "class quilt." Teacher and student directions are included, and several student samples are copied to assist students with ideas as they begin the project. A scoring rubric is attached for teacher and student to score the finished project.
