I use this children's story to get students to think more critically. This handout asks questions of all different levels, but more importantly, gets students to think "out of the box". As a follow up activity, I have students create their own questions about the story. For homework, I give them a different children's story (fairytales work great!) and have them create their own "out of the box" questions to bring in for another student to answer during the following lesson.
