PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

This is a concise teacher resource for using video games in the classroom. It provides Pros and Cons for the medium, as well as a list of activity ideas to try in the classroom for all ages. I recommend printing or emailing a copy to share with your department!

I have also included recommendations for a variety of games both free and paid to try. Video games can appear on a variety of platforms such as mobile, web and console. This is intended as an introduction and a starting point for teachers wanting to dip their toes into the world of video games, but don't know which direction to go.

If you are interested in the research behind these games, I have also included a list of works.

I hope you find this short resource useful! Please indicate if you would find it helpful if I developed further in-depth resources on anything outlined in this document, including specific game activities.
