Description
Struggling to manage challenging behavior in the classroom? Create a custom BEHAVIOR TOOL KIT.
Customized visual supports are a great way to help children understand complex concepts related to:
• functional communication
• social-emotional learning
• emotional regulation
• behavioral self-control
• executive functioning
Visual supports typically come in two styles. Static (cue cards) or interactive (with movable pieces or print.)
Use this resource as a stand-alone visual or pair with a few others to create an individualized set of behavior management resources.
Product Information:
This resource includes two visual supports intended to help learners decide whether a particular fidget is a “just right” tool.
The first visual depicts the difference between a tool and a toy, whereas the other visual proposes five thought-provoking questions to help determine if the chosen fidget will help increase focus.
Note: All behavior tool kit resource pages are 5x7 inches or half-page size. My favorite storage option is a 5x7 photo keeper box. make sure to grab the free behavior tool kit covers to help further individualize this resource for your students! You can also fit the pages in an 8.5x5.5 mini-3-ring binder or store them on a 6x9 inch mini clipboard. Both can be found at your local office supply store or on Amazon.
