This FREE handout explains what story building apps can be used and how to use them to build narrative skills in your students with language disorders or delays or complex communication needs.
Narratives are the heart of our interactions. Conversations are built on personal narratives. Narratives are the heart of understanding literature.
Narrative discourse is different from other types of interactions. It is interaction based on stories; either of real life experiences (one’s own or events overheard/seen) or of fictional events. It is a skill that develops slowly from experiences in play, conversation, and stories.
