Fall is the best time of year to apple pick. What do you do with all of those apples?!?! You use them in your classroom of course! This activity will focus on the skill of sequencing, while using real-world skills of following directions while making apple crisp with your students. The first worksheet is designed for your medium to high level writers who are able to legibly take notes from the Smart Board or Document Camera. The second document is for struggling writers who have a difficult time keeping the pace with taking notes. The third document is the answer key. The last document are sentence strips that can be printed out for sequencing practice. Together, I will complete the ingredients notes and steps for making apple crisp with my students, while actually following the steps. After all steps are completed, we will bake the apple crisp & enjoy our dessert for an afternoon snack! Yum! Yum!
