This project can accompany dystopian literature or satirical literature. I present this project to my seniors after they read a portion of Thomas More's Utopia and Swift's Gulliver's Travels. But this could work with younger grades reading dystopian literature like Hunger Games or Animal Farm. This is also a good assignment to give to a creative writing class because this is essentially a world-building activity.
This is a creative project that requires students to think about what their ideal society would be like and then create slides covering different facets of that society. Included is the grading rubric.
Students love to present these and really enjoy looking at what their peers create as well!
