This game is intended for students who are studying syllable division patterns as part of an Orton-Gillingham program. It covers syllables with the "Ti-ger" (vowel | consonant-vowel or V | CV) division pattern. It includes only open and closed syllables-- no other syllable types. It can be used as a word sort or played like memory/concentration. This activity encourages students to decode both real and nonsense words and will expand their vocabulary. It can be played in 5-10 mins at the end of a tutoring session.
