Valentine's Day is just around the corner, and you know what students will LOVE? These Valentine's Day themed activities!

This product is intended to review Numbers and Operations in Base 10 skills for 3rd, 4th, and 5th graders in a fun, Valentine's Day themed way! Each activity is perfect for independent or partner practice, morning work, stations activities, and more!

Included in this product is:
1.) Place Value Matching Game: Task cards express numbers in standard form, expanded form, word form, and base 10 form. Cut out the task cards for students to match the cards which represent the same number. This activity can be used to reinforce naming numbers and place value in small group or as a great station activity!

2.) Comparing Whole Numbers Valentine's Activity: Students use > , < , and = to compare whole numbers. Students may then color the hearts to show greater than, less than, or equal to. Great for a morning work review or a small group activity to reinforce and practice place value and comparing numbers.

3.) Rounding Riddles: Students use their rounding skills to solve Valentine's Day themed riddles! What did the Pilgrims give for Valentine's Day? What do you call a small Valentine? Use your rounding skills to find out!

4.) Naming Numbers Puzzle: Students complete a crossword style puzzle by converting numbers to standard form, expanded form, expanded notation, and other clues!

5.) Addition and Subtraction Word Problems: Students work to find sums and differences in these Valentine's Day themed word problems. Great morning work review, homework, or lesson review!
