Part one of the sample video is included in the video preview.
This is the first art project I introduce to my fourth/fifth grade students. Students first play a musical name game to open the beginning of the year, then learn about St. Basil's Cathedral in Russia. Afterwards students draw and create their own Russian Cathedrals inspired from their learning. Kids develop art skills by focusing on the lines and patterns within their drawing.
Objective: Students will learn about culture from Russia by creatively redesigning St. Basil's cathedral and listening to Russian music.
