With Valentine's Day fast approaching and students working on fractions, what better way to incorporate a fun and meaningful activity on/near Valentine's Day! With this activity, students have to determine fractions that are equivalent to 1/4, 1/2, 1/3, and 3/4. This activity can be done individually (private negotiation) or with small groups of students where student are able to negotiate answers.
