Are you ready to add some movement and laughter into your math activities this Valentine's Day? The Valentine Laughs Walk the Room activity gets your students up and moving while solving grade level math standards and answering hilarious Valentine themed jokes!
How to play:
Each child begins with a record sheet. They may review the jokes on the page and make guesses about what the punch line might be!
On your signal, students will walk around the room, searching for the Valentine themed signs. At each station, students will do two things: solve the math problem and read the punch line to a riddle. They should record both on their answer sheet.
Students can visit the signs in any order. Play ends when all students have completed all 12 math questions/jokes or until time runs out.
