These Mystery Match Pictures are too much fun and they can be done independently! Post the number clues around the room, give your students the matching recording sheet and there you go! They will have a blast matching numbers and coloring them accordingly to figure out the secret messages! There is a total of three different versions- each version has it's own symbol which goes with the number clues, recording sheet, and answer key!
This product is made of THREE Valentine mystery messages on 100's charts. Each activity includes an answer key, recording sheet, color-coded clues, and a cover page. Once you have printed and laminated, setting up the activities are very simple! In each mystery picture envelope, you will include the color-coded clues, a copy of the recording sheet with the matching symbol (same symbol as the clipart on clues,) and the matching answer key.
The color-coded clues have numbers on them so the student knows which number to record and what color to use. Once the student has colored all of the numbers on the clues, it will reveal a secret message.
There are two ways to play this game so it is easy to differentiate!
Individual Activity: (less support) Post the clues on walls around the room. Have students put a recording sheet on a clipboard and search around the room. For each clue they find, they will color in the matching number. Read the mystery message.
Group Activity: (more support) Put clues in paper bag or a stack face down. Have students take turns choosing a card and then telling the group the number and color. Continue until they have gone through all clues. Read the mystery message.
